Scary storms and tornados with hail
Dobby shivers in fright
Even in the car while I drive around.
Scarlett could care less, as long as she gets both chewybones.
Who knew driving in such weather with so much adrenaline shooting through me could wear me out enough to take a 2 hour nap after returning home!?
Anniversary day has come and gone once more.
Six beautiful (but not easy) years have passed.
Looking forward to the next six and even more!
I was expecting jewelry
Forgot that I always get electronics
(to me just as meaningful and fun)
Got me a 2nd gen Kindle!
Downloaded Meyers' The Host and Picoult's Handle With Care already.
LOVING IT!
Honey got from me a class of his choice at the Denver Darkroom
He's a budding photographer I tell ya
We went to the gallery to see his work on display
Didn't win a ribbon but did get lots of "ooohs" and "ahhs" from the parents
Maybe we'll be a team someday and take wedding photos!
CAKE on Friday sucked this time.
Made me super druggy tired I guess.
Came home to sleep it off and couldn't even stay awake to eat dinner or prepare for bed
Kept falling asleep and dropping things!
Ashamed of some of the wonky messages I sent my BFF that night! LOL
Thank goodness she's so forgiving!
Houston June 28. Home July 1.
Don't ask me anything more about it until we get home please.
The whole idea freaks me out.
Except that I'll get to use my Kindle on the airplane! WOOO WOOO!
Denver's aquarium lacks quite a bit of luster.
What do two tigers have to do with aquatic animals?
And tarantulas, too, come on?!
The sharks were neat, as were the rays, and the colorful fishes reminded us of snorkling in Maui.
In four more years we've vowed to return to our Honeymoon site on Kanapali Beach.
The Girls are recovering from losing teeths on Friday.
Administering liquid pain killers and antibiotics twice a day sure is fun, to say the least!
Until I figured out we can just stir both up in their wet food!
Everyone hates not being able to free-fed, including Mom and Dad! LOL
Week feels short since Honey took Monday off.
What day is this? When is tomorrow?
Lots of meals still coming in and we love them all!
Please sign up for more if you are really able!
Want to go play with the dogs out back.
More later then.
This is a blog about us Honeys. We've been married for 6 years, live in Littleton, CO, have a Chihuahua named Dobby, a Rat Terrier named Scarlett, three awesome cats (all referred to as our Furry Kids!) and some fish.
In November 2007 I was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer of the liver) and nave been undergoing chemotherapy since December '07 & Proton Radiation Therapy at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX from December '08 - February '09, and then back on eternal chemo until we get the tumor to shrink away from one salvageable vein in the liver so that it can be surgically removed. We use this blog to keep family and friends updated on our struggles, loves, challenges, celebrations, goals, ideas and the general daily grind!
